How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a valid DMCA notice, your written notification must include all of the following elements:

• Your full legal name and contact information (email address, phone number, and mailing address).
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our platform, with enough detail to allow us to locate it (such as the URL or track/playlist name).
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, or that you have the right to use the material in question, you may submit a counter-notification to the same address. A valid counter-notification must include:

• Your full name, email address, and physical address.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, Corrent maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
